[Meet cypress tap: give your AI agent the context the Cypress app shows you Cypress AIcypress tap is a new set of CLI command to pull Cypress app context into your terminal. It lets AI agent drive a Cypress open session from the terminal, so it can author new tests, extend existing ones, and read failures the way the Cypress app shows them.Read more](/blog/cypress-tap-cli)

[Skip tests that pass on the current build: Re-run optimization in Cypress Cloud When Cypress detects a CI rerun, it can now skip the work that already passed and run only what failed, so you get to green faster, burn fewer CI minutes, and record fewer billable test results. Re-runs with few failures can skip 99% or more of the tests that would have re-executed. It works out-of-the-box with common CI providers, and ships with overrides to customize the re-run behavior to your specific needs. Re-run Optimization is available for all Business plans and higher, and in free tri Read more](/blog/skip-tests-that-pass-on-the-current-build-re-run-optimization-in-cypress-cloud)

[Cypress Ambassador Spotlight: Ibukun Micheal Popoola Welcome back to the Ambassador Spotlight. Each post in this series hands the mic to one of the people holding up the Cypress community, including where they started, what they believe about testing, and what they've picked up along the way. Curious about the program itself? Learn more here. This week we're highlighting Ibukun Micheal Popoola, who led his QA team's move from manual testing to Cypress automation and now spends his time making that same jump easier for interns, junior testers, and Read more](/blog/cypress-ambassador-spotlight-ibukun-micheal-popoola)

[Cypress Cloud: Test Replay now masks sensitive form inputs by default Starting today, Test Replay replaces the values of sensitive form fields (passwords and payment details) with asterisks before it captures the DOM before any Test Replay data is uploaded to Cypress Cloud. It's on by default for every Cypress Cloud project. This follows the same principle as network data redaction in Test Replay: keep sensitive values out of captured artifacts, without giving up the overall debugging experience of Test Replay in Cypress Cloud. We've heard from Cypress Cloud cust Read more](/blog/ctest-replay-now-masks-sensitive-form-inputs-by-default)

[Build custom workflows with Cypress Cloud Webhooks Webhooks are a new addition to Cypress Cloud, supporting more flexible automation workflows beyond what is built into the platform itself. Learn why we've added them and how to get started using them in your project. Integration support in Cypress Cloud Cypress Cloud supports a wide range of integrations out of the box. If you need a GitHub status check for every group of tests in your test run, we've got you covered. Slack and Teams messages when a run fails? That's there, along with deskto Read more](/blog/build-custom-workflows-with-cypress-cloud-webhooks)

[Cypress 16: faster tests, starting with HTTP/2 support Cypress 16 goes after slow test suites from every angle: HTTP/2 support, zero-delay typing, faster visibility checks, retrying cookie commands, and automatic memory management. Most of it arrives without editing a single test. Here's what changed, why, and how to upgrade. Read more](/blog/cypress-16-faster-tests-starting-with-http2-support)

[Test Replay now redacts sensitive network data before upload Test Replay automatically redacts sensitive values from captured network logs before that data reaches Cypress Cloud. If your team turned Test Replay off in the past because of what your network logs held, this is the change that may let you turn it back on. You keep full CI debugging, and the values you didn't want stored are removed on your machine before Test Replay data is uploaded. Redaction is on by default, and you can turn it off for one project at a time in project settings. What g Read more](/blog/test-replay-now-redacts-sensitive-network-data-before-upload)
