# Webcast Recording | From Zero to Hero with Cypress

Last week, our VP of Marketing [Steven Yi](https://www.linkedin.com/in/steveyiwa/?ref=cypress-io.ghost.io), Slido's QA Lead [Filip Hric](https://twitter.com/filip_hric?ref=cypress-io.ghost.io), and Slido's Head of Engineering [Lubo Drobny](https://twitter.com/DrobnyLubo?ref=cypress-io.ghost.io) presented a live webcast on how the Slido team found success with Cypress, despite starting with _no JavaScript experience._

Some of the key topics they covered include:

-   How Slido structures their teams and processes
-   Their journey towards quality and test automation
-   How Slido uses Cypress to test outbound emails using Mailosaur, and automate test runs using Slack
