# 15.0.0: Steadier cross-origin tests on a modernized foundation

Six commands: `cy.url()`, `cy.hash()`, `cy.go()`, `cy.reload()`, `cy.title()`, and `cy.location()` now run through the automation client instead of the window object, so they hold up inside `cy.origin()`.

Cypress 15 also moves onto a modernized foundation, Electron 36, Node.js 22, and Chromium 136; and loads TypeScript configs through `tsx`. It's a major version with breaking changes, so review the migration guide before you upgrade.
