# 15.8.2: Reliability fixes for video on Apple Silicon, after-run events, and a security update

ReleasedReleased on January 5, 2026

Video recording now works on Apple Silicon (`darwin-arm64`), and `test:after:run` and `test:after:run:async` fire correctly even when both a `before all` and `after all` hook fail. This release also patches CVE-2025-15284 in the `qs` package via `@cypress/request`.
