What motivates you to be a Cypress Ambassador?
I am driven by a passion to share my knowledge and experiences with the community. My goal is to be a contributing member of this fantastic community, and I have a deep fondness for using Cypress as a tool.
How do you currently help others that are either using Cypress or interested in using Cypress?
At the moment, I'm focused on writing articles about Cypress on a platform, which I then share on social media. Additionally, I provide mentorship and offer assistance to others whenever possible for people interested in learning Cypress.
What is your favorite Cypress feature?
That's a hard question due to the multitude of options. However, one feature I particularly appreciate is the ease of debugging through the UI and the precision of the error messages.
What is your favorite "Cypress Best Practice" and why?
Without a doubt, my preferred best practice is test isolation, especially when it's integrated with custom commands, fixtures, and data-attributes. Since adopting these best practices, the reliability of my tests has significantly improved, and I'm really impressed with how scalable the tests have become.
Outside of work, what are your favorite things to do (hobbies, passions, etc.)?
I have a wide array of hobbies that I indulge in during my spare time: I'm passionate about reading books and articles, traveling, cooking and baking, immersing myself in the world of fashion and design, constructing Lego sets, gaming, and spending quality time with my friends and family. There's a broad spectrum of interests I love to explore.
What is one professional milestone you are proud of? (an accomplishment, celebration, recognition, etc.)
I take pride in reaching a milestone where I've gained valuable experience by initiating various projects from the ground up using Cypress and having the opportunity to share the knowledge I've acquired through writing articles.
For new users - what is the best way to "get started" with Cypress?
Starting with Cypress is best done by following its thoroughly written documentation and leveraging the resources and assistance provided by the Discord community.
