Talent acquisition interviewHelp us better understand what's motivating your job search
As a first step, a member of the talent acquisition team will meet with you to provide information on the role, Cypress’ product, our company trajectory, and the team you’d be working with. We’ll dive into what’s motivating your job search, what you desire in your next move and your career history to date.
We’ll discuss your decision framework, in order to help us determine what is most important to you in the process. We’ll also discuss salary bands for the role, the interview process, work authorization status, and any other logistical or contextual details that are important to you.
Hiring manager interviewGet an in-depth look at the role and how you'll contribute at Cypress
You’ll meet with your future manager and career development advocate, the hiring manager. They will discuss a bit about their role, why they joined Cypress, and what they see as an opportunity for you. They’ll dive into specifics on the position and your experience, in order to assess a mutual fit. You can expect open conversation, our goal is to determine if this is a good fit for both of us!
Team interviewLet's make sure it's a mutual fit for interviewers and interviewees
Next up, you’ll meet with members of the teams (direct and cross-functional) that you’ll be working closely with. This is usually three 45 minute interviews. Each person will have a specific focus that consists of the following: culture/behavior interview, technical skills assessment, and leadership interview for future managers and leaders of Cypress.
Closing discussionThe opportunity for final questions about the role and Cypress in general
Once we’ve debriefed and collected the team’s notes, we’ll decide if the Cypress team is supportive of bringing you on board. We share the feedback with you in full, and also gauge how you are feeling about us. Do you have any concerns, hesitations, red flags, or information you need more clarity on? Our goal is to determine if there is a mutual fit versus just handing over an offer. If we feel there is good mutual alignment, we’ll discuss offer details and gain formal approval.
